My aspirations for this piece were to soften her overall look through the blurred techniques that I use so I could amplify the fragility of her as a woman, surrounded by the darkness and chaos of the industry and her lifestyle and her demons that surrounded her whilst reinforcing that she was just a woman in need of help. I have used the cracking textures to depict her being broken and continuing to break, subtle but powerful - a detail that will flow through the body of work just like it does through the industry.
